Corn Dogs and Politics at the Illinois State Fair

August in Springfield means it’s State Fair Time and that means State politics time! This week two days are dedicated for the candidates to make their annual trek to the north side Springfield fairgrounds for their day of “unity”.  Wednesday August 19th is the Democrats day and Thursday, August 20th is Republican day.  Speeches will abound as a full field of candidates for both major political parties are already in full swing for our early February 2010 primary.
