Article highlights IAR’s work on concealed carry policy for members

The Chicago Tribune has a story this morning about an IAR Task Force recommendation that Illinois real estate brokerages consider implementing a policy regarding concealed carry.

The paper notes the association generated a suggested disclosure policy in response the state law that was passed in 2013 and allows those who meet certain criteria to carry a firearm.

The Concealed Carry Task Force came up with the recommendations due to potential liability and business issues that can arise from the policy.

The sample forms are available to IAR members here. (Note: You must be a member and logged in to view and download the forms).
