Morning Minute: Neighborhood walkability is important to many younger and first-time buyers

How walkable is your neighborhood? If you are looking to buy or sell a property, the walkability — or close proximity to restaurants, shops and other amenities that are within easy walking distance — of the property can be a big draw to today’s younger buyers, according to a poll by the National Association of REALTORS® and the Transportation Research and Education Center at Portland State University.
