IDFPR website changed to make popular functions more prominent

Visit the website for the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR), and you’ll see new buttons for checking license status and license renewals on the home page.

The changes are part of a new design that should make it easier for licensed professionals and consumers to find the services that are needed and used the most, says Terry Horstman, spokesperson for the IDFPR.

Other changes include:

  • Modernized renewal and application pages for licensed professionals,
  • Tabs for individual divisions,
  • A visible search tool,
  • An updated ‘contact us’ page and
  • An updated ‘file a complaint’ section.

“The goal of the new website is to deliver an intuitive, customer-oriented, functional experience with a clean, modernized and mobile-friendly layout,” says Horstman. “The website is part of our agency’s ongoing efforts to increase transparency and provide a more responsive regulatory experience. We invite members to visit the new website and encourage them to provide comment via our Website Feedback Survey found on the homepage.”
