“MRED is proud to honor the Illinois Association of REALTORS® for its great contributions to real estate for the past 100 years,” said Rebecca Jensen, President/Chief Executive Officer of MRED. “It is more important than ever for our industry to support the efforts of IAR and celebrate its successes in advocacy, education and ethics. We have a special relationship with our state association and are thrilled that we can show our admiration for IAR by being the Centennial Sponsor.”

In 2016, Springfield, Ill.-based IAR plans a series of celebrations to mark the association’s work on behalf of the real estate industry and its clients. Since its inception, IAR has pushed for industry professionalism and public policies which protect private property rights.

“Many of IAR’s members are MRED customers, and this longstanding partnership between the two organizations shows how excellence in managing real estate data and attention to professional real estate practices combine to serve the best interests of Illinois property owners,” said IAR President Mike Drews, GRI.

MRED’s Centennial Sponsorship will be reflected throughout the remainder of 2015 and into 2016. A Centennial Sponsor will have an enhanced presence in the association’s magazine, Illinois REALTOR®, on the association’s website and newsletters and at IAR events.

“There are very few organizations which make it 100 years and there are even fewer which can say they have had an impact on an industry in the way IAR has,” said IAR Immediate Past President Jim Kinney, ABR, CRB, CRS, GRI, SRES. “Illinois REALTORS® work to maintain the highest standards in real estate practice, and we’re delighted to have MRED as a partner to commemorate this century of excellence.”
