Wiercinski was a longtime IAR member and former association board member. He served on numerous IAR committees and was honored with the 2009 IAR Political Involvement Award. He was a member of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation’s Education Advisory Board and he held numerous leadership positions with IAR. He chaired the Commercial Industrial Investment Committee four times since 2003, was vice chair and later chair of the Public Policy Member Involvement Group and vice chair and chair of the Business Issues/License Law Working Group. Among his accomplishments were the REALTOR® of the Year for the Northwest Suburban Association of REALTORS®, the REALTOR® Association of Northwest Chicagoland and Northern Illinois Commercial Association of REALTORS®.
