Morning Minute: U.S. homeownership rate heads higher

The homeownership rate is beginning to move higher, climbing to 63.8 percent in the final quarter of 2015, according to Census data. That’s a slight gain from the 63.7 percent rate the quarter before and a move in the right direction after previous declines.
