Some residents in the 2nd District of McHenry County will receive postcards asking them to vote for REALTOR® John Reinert as a county board member in the March 15 primary election.
Two sets of postcards will be mailed in support of Reinert with the titles, “Vote John Reinert for McHenry County Board, District 2,” and “John Reinert . . . Responsible, Republican Values.”
One postcard explains that Reinert wants to eliminate wasteful government spending, reduce property taxes and bring fiscal responsibility, transparency and accountability to the McHenry County Board. The other postcard highlights his dedication to bringing economic growth and tax relief to McHenry County. He plans to support local businesses and attract new investors and developers to the area. Also, he wants to eliminate wasteful spending, lower property taxes and increase McHenry County’s funding to upgrade roads and improve public spaces.
The postcards were mailed through an independent expenditure campaign. Independent expenditure activities take place in support of a candidate for public office without any coordination with the candidate or the candidate’s campaign.
Reinert is a broker for RE/MAX Unlimited Northwest in Crystal Lake. According to his web page, he has helped customers with land development, investments, luxury homes, new construction, horse property and short sales.
Vote for Reinert if he is on your ballot. He is also receiving Opportunity Race support from IAR.
