While many of us are settling into the zenith of the holiday weekend, Illinois REALTORS® Springfield lobbying team is on alert watching the final days of the Illinois General Assembly’s spring session.

Sunday afternoon, HB6245 passed the Senate on a 51-0 vote, and now is headed to the governor’s desk for signature. This bill cleans up language in the state’s Real Estate License Act of 2000 regarding continuing education hours, and was not expected to have any opposition.

Illinois REALTORS® is still watching other bills, and making sure nothing gets added which can hurt REALTORS® and property owners.
