Dealing with Illinois REALTORS®’ Pokémon infestation

Pokémon Go is a thing.

The new Nintendo game melds virtual reality with location-based gaming, and has people worldwide searching for the elusive imaginary cartoon monsters.

Which led me to wonder: Are there any Pokémon lurking near the Illinois REALTOR® building in downtown Springfield?

The answer is “yes.”

I downloaded the app (really, boss, it was for work purposes) and immediately the phone started buzzing, which indicates a Pokémon was lurking nearby.

So, armed with a Pokéball, I managed to capture a Bulbasaur in the south parking lot.

What’s a Bulbasaur? Have no idea, really. But he is a grass/poison type monster and weighs about 11.62 kilograms.

Now back to my important work…wait, I think my phone is buzzing.
