Morning Minute: Mortgage interest rates climbed slightly higher this week

Fixed mortgage rates rose slightly this week with the 30-year, fixed-rate mortgage rate averaging 3.45 percent, an increase from 3.42 percent a week ago, Freddie Mac reported this week. The 15-year fixed rate rose from 2.72 percent to 2.75 percent this week. Read more.
