Morning Minute: U.S. housing starts higher in June

Homebuilding headed higher in June than forecasters were projecting, with housing starts rising 4.8 percent higher than a month ago, Bloomberg reports today. Residential construction has “remained in a steady but tepid recovery” and the June bump brings momentum to the summer selling season, according to Bloomberg.
