Champaign County REALTORS® to join MRED’s MLS system in 2017

snip20161005_12The Champaign County Association of REALTORS® announced Tuesday that it was joining Midwest Real Estate Data’s multiple listing service.

The Champaign County association has more than 400 members, ansnip20161005_11d becomes the 13th REALTOR® association to join with MRED, according to the release.

“I am thrilled that all of the discussions and negotiations have resulted in the partnership of these two great organizations,” said Stefanie Pratt, the association’s immediate past president. “It is gratifying when hard work results in something so positive for our members.”

Midwest Real Estate Data is the real estate data aggregator and distributor providing the Chicagoland multiple listing service (MLS) to more than 40,000 brokers and appraisers and nearly 8,000 offices.  MRED serves Chicago and the surrounding “collar” counties and provides property information encompassing northern Illinois, southern Wisconsin and northwest Indiana.

The MLS changeover for the Champaign County association will be in early 2017, according to the release.
