REALTOR® leaders begin new year in high-profile positions in Orlando

Two Illinois REALTORS® have high profile roles with the national organization, and will be hard at work in Orlando.  

Mabél Guzmán with @properties in Chicago has already started an intensive travel schedule to promote REALTOR® causes. This week in Orlando she will be recognized as the 2017 Vice President for NAR at an inaugural gala on Thursday. 

Guzmán has provided leadership in a variety of roles through the years at the local, state and national levels. She’s worked passionately on federal real estate issues, and was on the Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors.

Deena Zimmerman will be 2017 Commercial Liaison, a position that puts her in a leadership role with the many commercially-focused committees NAR has. She is a vice president with SVN Chicago Commercial.

Zimmerman is the second Illinois REALTOR® in as many years to hold the position and to be from the Chicago Association of REALTORS®. Illinois REALTORS® Treasurer Dan Wagner, senior vice president for government relations at the Inland real Estate Group of Companies finishes the 2016 liaison year at the meetings.
