The Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors met for the first time in 2017 during the Public Policy Meetings in East Peoria last week and welcomed four new members, including REALTOR® Nick Libert, managing broker/owner of Exit Strategy Realty in Chicago.
Libert became a REALTOR® in 2001. He started Exit Strategy Realty from eight agents in 2009 and developed it to more than 150 today. He also started another company called Nick Libert Development, which specializes in beautification of Chicago neighborhoods through the purchase, renovation and resale of properties.
In addition to serving on Illinois REALTORS® Board of Directors, Libert is on the following committees this year: Illinois REALTORS® Digital Communications & Tech Trends Working Group, Illinois REALTORS® Consulate General Liaison Working Group and the Illinois REALTORS® Education Working Group. He’s served on other committees for the state association, including the 2016 & 2015 State Legislative Contacts Working Group.
With the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, Libert has received the Top Producer Award several times, and serves on its Grievance Committee.
He’s also was honored as a Five Star Real Estate Agent by Chicago Magazine in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
He is a contributor to HGTV shows such as: “House Hunters,” “Good Buy/Bad Buy” and “A Sale of Two Cities.”
Other new members of the board include REALTORS®: Wayne Paprocki, Rebecca Thomson and Debbie Prodehl.
