Illinois REALTORS® can contact local high schools and colleges and notify local news media that the deadline for entries in the “Something to Learn About Illinois History” Video Contest has been extended to Oct. 31. Go to www.illinois200.com to register.

The contest will reward 100 Illinois high school and college students who submit an original video that highlights a fact, event, place, person or something to learn about the history of Illinois. The video must be 45 to 60 seconds in length.

The 100 winners will get their videos aired and posted online for others to see, plus they will receive two tickets to the Dec. 3 matinee showing of Hamilton in Chicago. The matinee will officially kickoff the 100-day Bicentennial Countdown.
