What REALTORS® Need to Know about Homes with Well Water
FREE webinar
Monday, February 27, 1:00p – 2:30p
http://privatewellclass.org/realtor-webinar

The Private Well Class is funded by a grant from the USEPA through the Rural Community Assistance Partnership and administered through the University of Illinois.

In addition to this 90-minute webinar, a free online class is offered to homeowners and real estate agents. Ten lessons are delivered by email, one lesson per week. The class is designed to help homeowners better understand how to care for their water well, ensure a safe water supply, and extend the life of the well.

Real estate agents are encouraged to share this information with homeowners and to take advantage of the free educational multimedia resources, such as podcasts, videos, webinars and social media updates. All of the materials are free! The program’s goal is simply to educate.

Associations and real estate agents may receive advanced training notifications, promotional tools and special collaborative opportunities by joining the partner community at http://privatewellclass.org/partners. Becoming a partner has no obligation attached and is the best way to stay in contact with The Private Well Class and to be informed about future webinars and educational opportunities.

REALTORS® can help fight hunger in their communities

REALTORS® can play an important role in fighting hunger in their communities by informing sellers about Move for Hunger. Move for Hunger is a nationwide non-profit organization that provides local food pantries with unopened, non-perishable food through cooperation of local real estate professionals, home sellers and moving companies.

Often, for convenience, sellers will throw away food during their move. Move for Hunger collects those non-perishable food items that would otherwise be thrown away and delivers them to local food pantries, whic directly benefits the communities where the sellers live.

You can help by asking your local association to partner with Move for Hunger and making sellers aware of the program. Visit www.MoveForHunger.org to learn more and get involved.
