Online CE courses now available for broker renewal

online CE courses for brokersDo you need continuing education courses for broker license renewal? The Illinois REALTORS® Licensing & Training Center now offers new online CE courses that you can complete from the comfort of your home or office.

Brokers who were first licensed before February 1, 2016 can purchase a complete 12-hour online CE package or individual 3-hour online CE courses to meet their license renewal requirements.

Think you can’t take an online course? Yes, you can. Nothing beats the convenience of taking courses and exams at home. Online CE courses are simply the fastest, easiest way to earn the continuing education credits you need.

This resource was developed as an initiative by the Illinois REALTORS® Commercial Committee and is free to all members. In the future, members may be able to purchase this video for CE credit.

Qualifying veterans may use GI Bill® benefits for real estate education

Veterans who want to start a career in real estate may apply for GI Bill® benefits for pre-license classroom courses taken through branches of the Illinois REALTORS® Licensing & Training Center.

How to qualify:

More than 65 classroom branches are available. Check the Pre-License Class Calendar for dates and locations.

Qualifying veterans will receive reimbursement from the training center where they took pre-license courses. Learn more from the Illinois REALTORS® website.

Earn the Green Designation December 5-6, 2017

Illinois REALTORS® in conjunction with Egyptian Board of REALTORS® is sponsoring the two-day Green designation course December 5-6, 2017 at John A. Logan College in Carterville, Illinois. Register by calling 618-364-0046.

Classes will be held from 9 am-4:30 pm both days, and participants will earn the Green designation and 6 hours of elective CE credit. Lunch is provided both days and parking is available. The member price is $95. Non-members pay $105.

The Green designation course provides instruction on how to market the benefits of high performance green features and smart home technology. Participants will gain an understanding of buyers’ and sellers’ expectations of green features and the advantages of a sustainable business model.
