The Council of Residential Specialists (CRS) announced Thursday a new way for REALTORS® and real estate agents to earn a CRS designation, effective Jan. 1, 2018.
The CRS board of directors approved a new track that allows agents with 60 transactions or $30 million dollars in sales over the most recent three years as well as 30 hours of CRS education to qualify. For more information about earning CRS designations, go to www.crs.com or call 800-462-8841.

Illinois REALTORS® values its GRI Grad members and appreciates their participation in Association events.
As members know, Illinois REALTORS® is constantly evaluating its programs to ensure they provide the best use of of resources for its members. While the GRI Grad live program traditionally held in the Fall has its loyal attendees, the event has ultimately not proven sustainable. The Executive Committee has made the difficult decision to suspend the GRI Grad live course tentatively scheduled for later this Fall. Those who have registered will be issued refunds for this program.
Grads will continue to enjoy the professional benefits that come from earning this designation. Illinois REALTORS® is looking forward to the future and will continue exploring new resources for GRI Grads and all members.
Illinois REALTORS® will offer Pricing Strategies: Mastering the CMA, a core requirement for the Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) certification (one of NAR’s newest approved certifications) on September 28 at Three Rivers Association of REALTORS® in Joliet. This course will be taught by Lynn Madison and is approved for 3 hours of Core B CE credit.

Illinois REALTORS® will offer the SRS designation course on August 17 & 18 at Three Rivers Association of REALTORS® in Joliet.
The SRS designation elevates professional standards, enhances individual performance, and recognizes real estate professionals who demonstrate the knowledge and skills essential for seller representation. This course provides 6 hours of Elective CE.
Tickets are $179 for the member early bird rate (Early Bird sales end August 8); $199 for the non-member early bird rate; $199 for the regular member rate and $219 for the regular non-member rate. Full refunds are available through August 14. No refunds will be made after August 14. Morning refreshments and lunch will be served.
