Best ‘two-minute drill’ you won’t see during the Super Bowl

How do you summarize nearly four days of Illinois REALTORS® Public Policy Meetings? As Super Bowl Sunday draws near, the answer is quite simple: a two-minute video highlight reel featuring many of our stars in action!

Watch for the images of your REALTOR® colleagues and guest speakers captured by photographers and videographers last week at the Embassy Suites in East Peoria.

Hear from our REALTOR® of the Year, Sue Miller, and Political Involvement Award Winner, Sonia Anaya. Hear from the chair and vice chair of the State Bicentennial Task Force, Vicky Turner and Sheryl Grider Whitehurst.

And that’s just a fraction of the highlights in store for you.

REEF holds fundraiser to benefit scholarship efforts

The Illinois Real Estate Educational Foundation held a fundraiser Wednesday night in East Peoria to benefit the organization’s scholarship programs.

The event raised nearly $11,000.

For the last several years, REEF has held a “Fun-raiser” which lets Illinois REALTORS® try their hand at games of skill to win bottles of wine. The event takes place at the Public Policy Meetings held each January, and is one of the major fundraisers for the organization.

Since 2000, REEF has awarded more than a half million dollars in educational scholarships.
