Head ‘Back to School’ with IAR educational programs

It’s “Back to School” time, and IAR has a series of fall and winter educational programs lined up for you. In fact, the schedule is filling up quickly! Check out these dates you will want to put on your calendar:

On Oct. 5, REALTORS® are invited to attend REbarcamp, a free un-conference sponsored by the Young Professionals Network. REbarcamp will be held from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Oak Brook Hills/Hilton Resort. Registration is free, but you must reserve your spot in advance.

Oct. 21-22 is the last 15-hour interactive Broker Post-license Applied Real Estate Practices webinar of 2015. This is one of the two required courses for brokers who need to renew their licenses before April 30, 2016. Lynn Madison leads this live-streamed course that you may take from anywhere.

On Nov. 4, IAR and Mainstreet will bring you the Xplode Conference, a full-day real estate technology and marketing conference that provides critical technology and marketing information. The Xplode Conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Stonegate Conference Center in Hoffman Estates. It features nationally-known experts in mobile technologies, contact management, email marketing, video and content marketing and much more. Early bird registration is open now, saving you $40!

Dec. 2-3 is the last time GRI Course III training will be offered live. Beginning in 2016, all undergrad course work will be online only and Courses II and III will be combined. This means that if you have completed Course II and do not finish Course III in December, you will be required to re-take all 30 hours online. GRI Course III and Grad will be held at the Embassy Suites in East Peoria, Illinois.

Take advantage of these learning opportunities and watch this blog for updates.

Mark your calendar for Oct. 5 REbarcamp; it’s free

They say the best things in life are free. When it comes to REbarcamp Illinois, we certainly think so! This half-day educational program is no ordinary event—you pay no registration fee, there are no paid speakers and there are no limits on what you can learn!

Because REbarcamp has no structured program to follow, YOU set the pace and YOU determine the content. Anyone can lead a discussion and everyone is encouraged to participate. Talk about the latest digital trends, favorite business and marketing tips, best practices, and what is happening now and next in the real estate industry. Did we mention it’s FREE? Thanks to wonderful sponsors and volunteer members of the Illinois Young Professionals Network (YPN), this program is offered free of charge to all REALTORS®. REbarcamp is a place to share ideas and expand your potential, no matter what your age.

The 2015 Real Estate Bar Camp Illinois will be held Monday, Oct. 5, 2015 at the Oak Brook Hills Resort/Hilton in Oak Brook, Ill., from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is immediately followed by an after party. We hope you will join us at this event, powered by the Illinois Young Professionals Network.
